About This Retreat
A day in the retreat
Morning
○Breakfast
The day starts around a shared table. Good food before the sea.
Morning
◇Freediving Theory & Breathwork
Theory, breathing exercises, and preparation for open water. Mind and body ready for depth — then into the sea.
Midday
◎Lunch
For all the hungry ones coming back from the water. Real food, slow table, good conversation.
Midday
□Rest
Unstructured time. Digest, talk, read, write, nap. No program. The body knows what it needs.
Afternoon
△Handstand Practice
Strength, technique, and balance. Focused progressions, a lot of play, and personal feedback.
Evening
◯Dinner
Another proper meal, cooked with care. The kind you actually remember.
Night
◎Free Time
No agenda. Time to connect, sit by the sea, or just be. Whatever feels right.
Who is it for
The retreat is for people who love nature, the sea, and movement - and for whom this combination sounds as exciting as it does to us. Whether you’re a beginner or already at a more advanced stage in your practice, you have a place in our retreat. What brings all participants together is a genuine sense of curiosity and a willingness to fully engage with the process.
Handstands
Wall handstand for 20 seconds minimum. That's the baseline we build from. More advanced practitioners get taken further.
Freediving
Zero experience required. We start from breath and pool work, build to open water. Everyone gets individual guidance.
Fitness
Generally healthy and active. No specific fitness level. The retreat is progressive — each person works from where they are.
Your guides
Hand Balancer
Yuval Oz
Yuval has spent years at the edge of what a body can balance. His work lives between circus, street performance, and deep movement teaching. He brings precision without rigidity — and play without losing control.
The goal is not just to improve, but to fall in love with the practice.
Freediving Instructor
Gil Fox
Gil knows what it means to go below the surface — literally and metaphorically. A national record holder and certified instructor, he creates a space where depth feels safe. His teaching is calm, methodical, and deeply human.
Freediving isn't just about depth. It's about how softly we meet ourselves.

The Venue
Terra Preveli is an off-grid eco-farm on a Cretan hillside, running entirely on solar power. Olive groves, wild herbs, and a stream that winds through the property and pools into natural swimming holes before reaching Preveli Lagoon — where freshwater meets the Mediterranean under a canopy of towering palms. Accommodation is in eco-structures built into the landscape: geodesic domes, a hand-built mud house, and yurts. They're open to the breeze, simple in the best sense, and genuinely comfortable once you settle in. Bathrooms and showers are shared and well-maintained. There's no air conditioning — but at this altitude, the nights cool down on their own. This is a place where mornings start with birdsong and the afternoons end at the stream. Where the absence of city noise becomes something you notice, then miss when you leave. It suits people who come for the experience, not the amenities — and leave with both.
